Dear Members and Friends,

I am happy to share with you that I will be hosting WineDining's next event at Cafe Pacifica in Old Town on Wednesday, Nov. 7th at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner, appetizers, 4 course and 6 wines is $95.00 all inclusive to members of WineDining and Secret Napa Wines, and $105.00 to our guests.

As one of the very few DiRona Distinguished Restaurants of North America, Owner Frank Busic is now celebrating 27 years of providing San Diegans with some of the most outstanding fish dishes we could find. We know he also has other options on the menu, but it is because of the creative fish preparations that I am choosing to host my second dinner at Cafe Pacifica.

To beautifully compliment this menu, I am co-hosting with Miles Grant, owner of Secret Napa Wines to provide a variety of wines from small producers that you may not know. Miles has created a wonderful concept correlating price to quality that he will share with us that evening. We will have wines from Vision Cellars, Forchini Vineyards, and Kelly Martin Winery. As I always try to do something different at each dinner, we will be comparing a red and a white wine with our first course.

I look forward to sharing this enjoyable and delicious dinner with you. Because the wines come from different wineries ( which adds a level of organizational complexity for us), an early RSVP is very important to give Miles sufficient time to acquire the appropriate quantity of wines for you to enjoy this evening. You will also be able to order wine at a favorable price at the dinner.
